Welcome to the community of nature and adventure lovers! In BMC we conduct various activities with different difficulty levels. 90% of our Bookings are for Trekking, hence taking that as an example below:
If you have not done trekking before or in recent past, here is our suggestions:
1. First pick any trek with less in duration and difficulty level. You know where to find all our upcoming events - http://www.bmcindia.org. If you run/jog/cycle regularly and has good stamina feel free to pick the trek with higher difficulty. Remember two days treks are not always difficult but it has very basic facilities like: Stay won't be cozy, food won't be as you might expect, unavailability of rest rooms etc.
2. Once you finalize the trek destination & date, go thru details on the page, don't miss information like: Trek Schedule, Pickup points, Things to carry etc. Its absolutely fine to not worry about which place you are visiting, as far as you join us on any trek, you will have fun experience. Dry weather, Summer can be exhausting a bit but it won't stop you from getting a sense of accomplishment.
3. Do the booking, its online and seamless. Feel free to call us at +91 - 9611102222 to clarify any doubt.
4. Few hours before the trek departure, you will receive an email with our Coordinators phone number for future reference. Also you will be added to the treks Whatsapp group, where you can communicate with Trek leader, BMC Office, Final escalation point & your co-trekkers.
